My Style
Photographers are artists. A painter paints, a sculptor creates sculptures, a photographer captures memories with images. Photography is a passion of mine. I describe my style as photo journalistic — that means, I capture the moments as they occur without staging them. I believe that this approach is best suited for weddings and events because it captures the purest emotions a person is feeling right there and then. For weddings, I also love capturing the small details of the day, like the wedding gown, the bouquet, the cake, the glint in your mother's eyes, the location and so on... In short, I aim to provide you with great candid as well as traditional shots, to help you remember the events exactly the way they happened. The greatest achievement for me, is when you say, "Oh my God! I LOVE the pictures!!!"

What are your rates?
- Most of my clients spend an average of $3500 on wedding photography services. My rates start at $2450 and I always work with my customers to build the best package that fits their needs.
- Lifestyle Portrait photography rates starts at $500 for a 60 min session.
Do you want me to provide you with a list of "must have" photographs?
As a photo-journalistic wedding photographer, my approach is to capture many of the spontaneous moments of your wedding day. I usually sit with you about 2 weeks prior to your wedding day and learn about your special needs. However, if you would like to provide a “must have” list, I will make every effort to comply with your requests.
What about formal wedding party portraits?
I work to get the portraits done as quickly and painlessly as possible. I recommend assigning a designated person who is not part of the wedding party to gather people for the formal shots.
What type of equipment do you use?
I use the latest Canon EOS professional digital camera equipment. Being a photo-journalistic style photographer, I need a fast and reliable camera. Using the "L" series lenses by Canon allows me to capture both candid shots and posed shots that require long lenses as well as wide angle lenses.
Who will photograph my wedding? Do you bring an assistant?
I photograph each wedding myself. A second photographer or assistant can be added to your package. When I come with an assistant, we work as a team to provide you with the best photos of your event.
How far in advance are you booked?
Your photographer should be among the first things you book for your wedding day. As soon as you choose a location and set a date, you should select a photographer as well. Some dates tend to fill up quickly like summer and fall weekends, so you will want to book your photographer as soon as possible. Please contact us to check for availability.
How many pictures do you take?
Because I work with a digital camera, the number of photos I take is almost unlimited. I usually take 600 to 900 photos capturing candid shots, posed shots and many unique details. I personally edit each photo in my studio, providing you with the best final results.

Where are you located?
While I am a Tracy based wedding photographer, I photograph weddings all over the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Wine country, Half Moon Bay, San Jose, Palo Alto, Napa, Santa Cruz and Sacramento. I also travel outside of California for exclusive weddings as well as all over the world.
What type of albums do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of albums. Our most popular is the Magazine Style Album.

How many photos should I choose for the Album?
Standard albums come with 10 spreads (layouts), that is 20 pages. I recommend to choose an average of 3-6 photos per spread. In other words I recommend choosing between 30 to 60 images to go in your album. Bear in mind, the more photos you choose the more photos will end up being on each page. You can always add more spreads to the album - I strongly recommend that.

What is the payment schedule? What are my payment options?
50% of your total booking is required at the time of contract signing. This retainer secures your date. The remaining balance is due on your wedding day. If you would like to have a different payment plan - simply let me know, I can work with you on that!
We accept cash, checks, credit cards, PayPal and Google Checkout payments. Applicable Texas sales tax will be applied.

How soon after the wedding can we see our wedding images?
My turn around times are as follows:
- Online Gallery: 2 to 4 weeks.
- Engagement Album: 3-5 Weeks from ordering.
- Magazine style album: 3 to 5 months from ordering.
What are “web quality” images? How do I choose my prints?
“Web quality” images are images you would use when posting photos online, they are not designed to be used for prints. Your online gallery will include all the web images and allow you to choose your prints.
What are "High resolution" images?
High resolution images are the files used for printing your images, also referred to as "Digitals" or "Negatives". Your online gallery will have the option to download the high resolution images depending on your package.
What is the referral program?
My business is based on referrals, and as a way of thanking you for bringing us business from your friends and family, we offer a $50 gift certificate for dinner at P.F. Chang's China Bistro restaurants. That means that if you recommend us to 3 friends who are getting married and they all book with us, we will give you $150 in gift certificates for 3 dinners!
Do you offer special discounts for last minute bookings?
Yes! If your wedding is within 1 month of the booking date, we offer a 10% discount if your date is available. This is a great deal if you need a photographer at the last minute and would like high quality photographic coverage.
Do you offer Videography services?
Yes, I have partnered with a videographer, and we are offering combined packages, let me know if you need video for your special day and we will work with you.
